Travel eSIMs: make sure it works when you land.
Check your phone and destination first. Then compare data, validity and throttling.
Check your phone, then your destination.
eSIM support depends on the device model, sales region, network lock and plan. A physical SIM, eSIM QR code and adapter hardware are different deliveries.
Data-only plans usually do not provide a phone number for calls or texts. Internet access does not establish calling or verification-text support. Check the provider’s device and coverage information before departure.
Unlimited can still have a high-speed allowance.
Daily 1GB high-speed data followed by throttling differs from high-speed data throughout. Total versus daily allowances, hotspot access and throttled speed affect use.
Compare days as well as data. A 1GB one-day plan and a 1GB three-day plan are different offers, even if the price per GB looks similar.
When does the clock start?
A plan may start on installation, first connection to a local network or manual activation. Redemption deadlines, installation limits and device transfers can also matter.
Check delivery timing and whether installation or activation affects refunds. If connection fails, send support the order number, device model and error privately. Keep the QR code and full configuration out of public posts.
